Executive Beverage, LLC respects the fact that booking us means telling us about your event, your home or venue, and sometimes your guests. This explains what we collect, why, and what we do not do with it.
What we collect
When you use this website. Your device and browser type, IP address, time zone, the pages you view, and how you arrived. This comes from cookies and from Shopify, which hosts the site.
When you request an estimate or contact us. Your name, email, phone number, event date, venue or address, guest count, the services you are considering, and anything you tell us in the message field. The estimate builder sends this to us as an email; the figures it shows you are calculated in your browser.
When you book. Everything above, plus billing details, and whatever the event requires us to know: run of show, venue contacts, access arrangements, dietary or allergy notes, and occasionally a guest list where the event calls for one.
When you buy from the online store. Contact and billing details and order contents, handled by Shopify and its payment processors.
When you join The Fresh Squeeze. Your email address, and your name if you give it.
How we use it
To quote your event, to run it, to invoice it, and to keep the records that tax, insurance, and licensing require of us. We use contact details to reach you about your own booking, and we send marketing email only to people who asked for it.
Payment information
We do not store full card numbers. Card payments go through Shopify's processors, and bank transfers go through a secure payment platform where your bank details are not saved to our systems.
Who we share it with
- Shopify, which hosts this website and processes store orders.
- Mailchimp, which sends The Fresh Squeeze if you subscribed.
- Our own team working your event, limited to what they need to do the job.
- Professional advisers, insurers, and authorities, where we are required to or where we need to defend a claim.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share event details with other vendors unless you ask us to coordinate with them.
Discretion
Some of our work is for people whose attendance is not public. We do not publish client names, venues, or guest identities, we do not use guests as photographic subjects, and we will not confirm to anyone that a particular person or organization is a client. If you want no photography of any kind at your event, say so and there will be none.
Marketing email
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link and it works immediately. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop email about a booking you have with us, since we need to be able to reach you about your own event.
Cookies
The site uses cookies that make it work (your cart, your session) and cookies that tell us how the site is being used. You can block cookies in your browser, and parts of the site may then behave oddly. Where a consent banner is shown, your choice is respected.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become bookings: up to 24 months. Booking and financial records: seven years, which is what tax and insurance require. Marketing subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
If you are a Virginia resident, the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act gives you the right to know what we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to opt out of targeted advertising or any sale of personal data. We do not sell personal data. Email  and we will respond within 45 days. If we refuse a request we will tell you why, and you may appeal by replying to that decision.
Residents of other states and countries with similar laws may make the same requests and we will handle them the same way.
Children
This site is not for anyone under 21, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If a guest under 21 appears in event information you send us, we use it only to staff and serve the event safely.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and move the date at the top.
