The capital runs on receptions. Session events, association and advocacy days, agency functions and headquarters entertaining — rooms full of people who came from work and are going somewhere else afterwards, where the bar has to be quick, correct and finished on cue.
We travel to Richmond regularly from Virginia Beach. It is outside our core Hampton Roads area, so travel is quoted openly as its own line rather than buried in an hourly rate.

W-9, PO numbers and an itemized invoice a state or agency finance office can process. Certificate of Insurance in whatever format and with whatever additional-insured wording your building requires.
If your building holds exclusive food and beverage rights
That is not a dead end. We can supply bartenders and servers who work under the venue’s own program, or run a fully non-alcoholic program — which exclusivity clauses usually do not cover.
Staffing
One bartender per 50 guests and a bar-back per 150 on a busy bar. Arrival matters more than headcount: a reception where 200 people walk in the moment a session ends needs more staff than 200 across an evening.
4-hour minimum. You buy the alcohol at retail in your own name and keep whatever is left.
