Military & first responders

Thank you for your service, 10% off, every service

We are honored to serve those who serve. Active duty, reserve, Guard, retired, veteran and first responder, you get 10% off mobile bartending, event waitstaff and bar rentals, across Virginia Beach, Norfolk and all seven cities of Hampton Roads.

Retirements, changes of command, promotions, homecomings, unit balls and department banquets. Tell us when you request your estimate and the discount is applied before you see a price.

A discount you do not have to ask twice for

Most military discounts are a coupon code you find out about afterwards. This one is applied before we quote you, and it is on the services themselves rather than on some inflated starting price.

The rest is the same as any other event we run: an itemized estimate you can read line by line, a straight recommendation on staffing based on your schedule, and paperwork that a finance office will accept without three rounds of corrections.

What we run

Formal or informal, on a Tuesday evening or a Saturday night.

  • Retirements and changes of command

Formal, scheduled to the minute, and usually followed by a reception that has to start the moment the ceremony ends. We set up beforehand and pour the second people walk in.

  • Promotions and pinnings

Smaller and shorter, often on a weeknight. One bartender and a tight menu is usually the right answer, and we will tell you when that is all you need.

  • Homecomings and holiday parties

Families, kids and a long afternoon. Plenty of non-alcoholic alongside the bar (shaken lemonades, coffee, dirty sodas) so nobody is drinking out of politeness.

  • Unit balls and formal dinners

High volume in a short window, seated service, and a room that all arrives at once. Staffed for the rush rather than the headcount.

  • First responder banquets and awards

Fire, police, EMS and dispatch. Same discount, same crew, and the same understanding that shift patterns make the timeline what it is.

  • Fundraisers and foundation events

We have poured for the Navy SEAL Foundation and the UDT-SEAL Association. Cash bars, sponsor receptions and silent-auction nights all have their own bar rhythm and we know it.

Installations we pour around

  • Naval Station Norfolk
  • NAS Oceana
  • Dam Neck Annex
  • JEB Little Creek–Fort Story
  • Joint Base Langley–Eustis
  • Norfolk Naval Shipyard
  • Naval Medical Center Portsmouth
  • Coast Guard Base Portsmouth
  • NASA Langley Research Center

We can work any installation that allows outside vendors, or that already brings in caterers and vendors for base entertainment and support. A good many do. What varies is local policy, and it can change, so tell us the installation and we will confirm what is required rather than promise what the gate decides. Plenty of unit events also happen off base, and those are straightforward.

And off base

  • Officers' & enlisted clubs
  • VFW & American Legion posts
  • Hotel ballrooms
  • Museums & historic venues
  • Private homes & backyards
  • Yachts & waterfront

Retirements, changes of command, promotions and department banquets run in all of these. Same crew, same 10% off for military and first responders.

How it works

  1. Tell us the date and the location

Including whether it is on an installation, at a hall, or somewhere private. That changes what we need to arrange and how early.

  2. Say you are military or a first responder

That is the whole process for the discount. Mention it when you request your estimate and 10% comes off before you see a number.

  3. We build it around the ceremony

The bar opens when the formal part ends, not before. Staffing follows the schedule you give us.

  4. Paperwork sorted in advance

Certificate of Insurance, W-9, PO number. Whatever your venue or your finance office needs, handled before the week of the event.

  5. We set up and we clean up

Nobody from your unit is moving tables or hauling ice. That is what you are paying us for.

What people ask us

Who qualifies for the 10% discount?

Active duty, reserve, National Guard, retired and veteran service members, plus first responders — fire, police, EMS and dispatch. Immediate family booking on their behalf counts too.

There is no verification hoop. Tell us when you request your estimate and we apply it.

How do I claim it?

Mention it when you request your estimate, or say so on the phone. The 10% comes off before we send you a number, so you never have to ask for it back afterwards.

Does it apply to everything?

It applies to our services. Mobile bartending, event waitstaff and bar rentals. It does not apply to alcohol you buy yourself, which you are purchasing at retail rather than from us.

Can you serve an event on base?

Yes, at any installation that allows outside vendors, or that already brings in caterers and vendors for base entertainment and support. A good many do.

What varies is local policy, and it can change, so tell us which installation and we will confirm what is required rather than promise something the gate decides. Plenty of unit events also happen off base at halls, clubs and private venues, and those are straightforward.

Our venue needs a certificate of insurance. Can you provide one?

Yes, routinely, in whatever format and with whatever additional insured wording they specify. Send us the requirement and we deal with the venue directly.

Can you invoice a command or a unit fund?

Yes. We can work to a PO number, provide a W-9, and issue an invoice a finance office can actually process. Tell us the requirements up front and the paperwork arrives correct the first time.

Send us the date and the location. You will get availability, an itemized estimate with the 10% already applied, and a straight answer on what your venue is going to need from us.

Let's get started

Tell us about your event.

Send us the date, the venue and the headcount. You'll get an itemized estimate, a custom cocktail menu and honest guidance — free, with nothing committed. Once you book, we send the shopping list: what to buy, what it should cost, and where to get it.

10% off for military and first responders. Free consultation, no obligation.

We've poured at weddings, festivals and a few parties we're not allowed to talk about. Every one of them started with this question.

Are you 21 or older?

Virginia law requires a yes before we can show you the bar.
