Away from home, we buy it all. Travel is just a line item.
At home you buy your own alcohol, because you are standing next to the store and there is no reason to pay anyone a markup on a bottle you could collect yourself. A destination event is the opposite situation entirely. You are not going to spend the week before your own party working out which county is wet, what the ABC rules are where you are going, or which supplier can get 400 pounds of ice to a marina on a Saturday.
So we do all of it. Full purchasing service on the ABC and the alcohol, plus every supply and every piece of equipment sourced and ordered in advance, not scrambled for on arrival. You tell us what you want and how you want it, and it is standing there when you walk in.
What travels with it is the people: certified bartenders and a beverage director who has built the programme before, on a crew that has solved the problem somewhere else already. Travel is a line item on the estimate, quoted at what it costs. It is not the reason to talk yourself out of the event you actually want.

Super yacht parties
Dock to dock, crewed and run aboard. Space is tight, the guest list is not casual, and the bar has to work without a back room to hide in. We bill the way the boat runs. The crew is aboard the whole time.
Art weeks and gallery events
A custom menu written for the week, printed and framed, with drinks named for the room they are poured in. Art Basel Miami Beach is the one people know; the format works anywhere the event has a theme worth drinking to.
Destination private parties
A house, a villa or a garden somewhere warm, with a bar built to look like it belongs to the property rather than trucked in. Full spirits, fresh fruit, and a crew who arrived the day before.
Dockside and marina service
Before the lines come off, or instead of going out at all. A bar set on the dock beside the boat, which is often the better answer for a bigger guest list than a saloon will hold.

Full purchasing on the ABC and the alcohol, plus mixers, garnish, ice, glassware and any equipment we are not bringing. Ordered ahead against your menu and your guest count so nothing is being hunted down the morning of.

Far enough ahead to see the space, confirm every delivery landed, and fix whatever the photographs did not show us. Nobody sets up a room they have never stood in on the day of the party.

How far will you actually travel?
Further than you would expect, and it depends entirely on the date and the notice. We have crewed events in Colorado, through Alabama football weekends, and across Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Ask with a date attached and you will get a straight yes or no rather than a maybe.
How is travel priced?
As its own line, not folded into an inflated hourly rate. Crew travel and lodging are quoted at what they cost, purchasing is itemised, and equipment is either brought or sourced locally depending on which is cheaper for you. You see all of it before you commit to anything.
Do you bring the bars and equipment?
Sometimes. Freighting a whiskey barrel bar across several states rarely makes sense, so for longer distances we source the hardware where you are and bring the things that actually matter. The crew, the tools, the recipes and the plan. Tell us the destination and we will tell you which way round it should work.
Who buys the alcohol for a destination event?
We do. Destination work includes full purchasing service on the ABC and the alcohol, along with every supply and any equipment we are not bringing with us, all sourced and ordered in advance against your menu and your guest count.
This is the one real difference from an event at home. Here you buy your own alcohol and keep the retail margin, because that is genuinely better for you. Somewhere you have flown to for your own party, working out local ABC rules and chasing suppliers is not a saving. It is the thing you were trying to get away from.
Is it the same crew who work events at home?
Yes. Travel events are staffed from the same bench that works Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads, with a beverage director on site. The point of flying a crew out is that you get people who have already solved the problem, not a local agency booking.
Can you work aboard a boat?
We do, and we bill dock to dock because the crew is aboard the whole time. A few things have to be settled first. How the galley and ice work, what the captain allows, and whether the guest list actually fits the saloon or wants a bar on the dock instead.
