The Fresh Pressed Crush Bar
The drink this region is known for, made the way it was meant to be. Oranges squeezed on site, Waterman's Perfect Crush, and pebble ice we bring with us. It is the service clients ask for by name, and you can add call cocktails, beer and wine to the same bar so the menu is never crushes alone.
Staffing from $40/hr per person. Crushes priced per drink. You buy the spirits.
- What makes it a crush bar
- Oranges squeezed on site, never from a carton
- Pebble ice, which is what makes a crush a crush
- Waterman's Perfect Crush, the original spirit
- State-certified, ServSafe-certified bartenders
- Licensed and insured, with a COI for your venue
- Every crush can be built as a mocktail
Fresh-pressed means squeezed in front of you
Most bars calling themselves a crush bar are pouring from a carton and topping it with soda. The drink came out of Maryland and reached this oceanfront not long after, one orange squeezed per glass, and that is the only way it tastes like the original.
So we bring the fruit, we cut it on site, and we squeeze it during your event. We also bring the pebble ice, because a crush over cubes is a different and thinner drink and there is nowhere to buy pebble ice on the way.
What comes off this bar
Crushes are the headline. It is still a full bar.
The Orange Crush
The original, and the reason this bar exists. One orange squeezed to order, 3 oz of Waterman's Perfect Crush, a splash of Sprite, packed over pebble ice and flipped.
Grapefruit and citrus crushes
The same build across the citrus family. Grapefruit is the one people order second and talk about first.
Fresh-pressed lemonades and limeades
Hand-pressed, shaken to order, and the reason our non-alcoholic guests never feel like an afterthought.
Seasonal fruit crushes
Peach, watermelon, strawberry and whatever is actually good that month. We will tell you what is worth pouring on your date.
Add call cocktails, beer & wine
Crushes are the headline, not the whole menu. Add your own brands and the same bar pours a proper gin and tonic, a bourbon neat, a cold beer or a glass of wine, so the crush bar covers the whole room instead of the one drink.
Beer and wine service
Full beer, wine and champagne service alongside the crushes, from the same bar and the same team. Most events want both.

Questions about the crush bar
What does a Fresh Pressed Crush Bar cost?
Staffing is billed per person, per hour, from $40 an hour per bartender with a 4-hour minimum. The crushes themselves are priced per drink, and the estimate builder works both out together from your guest count and hours. You buy the spirits at retail, which is where most of the saving is.
Do you also serve call cocktails, beer and wine?
Yes, as an add-on to the crush bar rather than something we assume you want. Crushes are what we are known for, but most events also want a gin and tonic, a cold beer and a glass of wine on the menu, and the same team pours all of it off the same bar.
Tell us the brands and we will put them on the shopping list with the crush ingredients.
How is this different from a Crush Kit?
A Crush Kit is a drop-off: we deliver the crusher, tools, fruit, mix, pebble ice and the cups, napkins and straws, you serve yourselves, and we collect the equipment the next business day. This is the staffed version, where our bartenders squeeze, build and pour for you. Kits suit smaller and more casual events; the bar suits anything where you would rather be a guest.
Is it really fresh-squeezed?
Yes, on site, during your event. One orange per crush. It is slower than a carton and it is the entire difference in the glass, which is why the bar is named after it.
Can you do it without alcohol?
Every crush can be built as a mocktail with the same fresh juice and the same pebble ice, and our fresh-pressed lemonades are the same technique. Dry events and family events get the identical bar.
Why does the ice matter so much?
A crush is named after the ice. Pebble ice chills fast, packs tight and melts at the rate the drink is designed around, so the last mouthful tastes like the first. The same build over cubes is a thinner drink, and pebble ice is the part nobody can source themselves.
Not sure whether you want the bar or the kit? Tell us the headcount and the occasion and we will say which one we would book in your position.
Made with Waterman's Perfect Crush.
The Orange Crush is a Virginia Beach drink, and Waterman's Perfect Crush is the spirit it is built on. Fresh pressed oranges, Waterman's, a splash of Sprite, packed over pebble ice and flipped.
We pour it the way the oceanfront pours it, because that is where the drink comes from.
