Political events are their own discipline. The timeline moves, the run-of-show gets rewritten an hour before doors, there is usually press in the room, and the money side has to be clean enough to report. We have worked all of it across Hampton Roads, from city council receptions to events for officials at the highest levels of government.

This matters more in political work than anywhere else. We do not discount for campaigns and we do not provide anything free of charge, because a discount or a comped bar can become a reportable in-kind contribution and somebody else's problem at filing time.
You get the same numbers published on this site that every other client pays, itemized line by line, with staff, rentals and fees separated. Your treasurer can drop it straight into the report.

Committee fundraisers
Ticketed receptions and donor dinners. Cash bar, hosted, or a bar underwritten by a host committee, whichever keeps the most of the evening's money where it is meant to go.
Get-out-the-vote events
Volunteer kickoffs, canvass launches and rally-day hospitality. Often daytime and often non-alcoholic: coffee service, shaken lemonades and infused water for a room that has doors to knock.
Name-ID & meet-the-candidate
House parties and neighborhood receptions where the whole point is conversation. A bar that moves fast and quietly so the candidate is never stuck behind a queue.
Swearing-in & election night
Inaugural receptions, swearing-in celebrations and election-night parties, including the ones where the run-of-show is written at six and changes twice before doors.

Tell us the date and the room
Even a rough brief is enough to start. Venue, expected headcount, whether it is ticketed, and whether press will be there.

We build the bar plan
Bar count and staffing sized for the arrival pattern, because a reception where everyone comes through the door at once is a throughput problem, not a headcount problem.

Run-of-show changes are expected
Tell our lead on site and we adjust. We plan for the schedule moving rather than treating it as an exception.

Questions campaigns ask
Will your invoice cause an in-kind reporting problem?
It should not, and that is deliberate. We bill every client the same published rates and we do not discount political work or comp anything. You pay market rate for what you received, itemized, which is exactly what avoids an in-kind question in the first place. Your treasurer or counsel should still make the final call on how it is reported.
Our timeline keeps changing. Is that a problem?
Usually yes for a vendor, and usually no for us. Campaign timelines move, venues change and the run-of-show gets rewritten more than once. Call us with the date even if the details are soft. We would rather hold a slot and adjust than have you assume we are booked.
Can you work an event with press in the room?
Yes, and often. Our team is briefed to stay out of shot, keep the bar visually clean, and never discuss who is in the room. If there is a photo line or a press riser, tell us where and we will build around it.
Do you serve non-alcoholic events?
Frequently. Volunteer kickoffs, canvass launches and morning events usually are. We run locally roasted coffee service, fresh shaken lemonades and infused water stations with the same uniformed team and the same bar setup.
Will you tell anyone we hired you?
No. We do not publish client names, we do not confirm whether a person or committee is a client, and we do not use guests as photographic subjects. If you want no photography of any kind at your event, say so and there will be none.
What do you need to hold the date?
A signed Agreement for Services and a 50% deposit. Until both are in, the date stays available to anyone else who asks for it.
If your date is close and the details are not settled, call anyway. Campaign calendars move and we are used to it.
