Staffing and alcohol
We plan one bartender per 50 guests and a bar-back per 150 on a busy bar. You buy the alcohol at retail in your own name and keep whatever is left — we do not sell liquor at a markup, and we send a shopping list with quantities and brands built around your headcount.
A Virginia ABC banquet or special-event license is issued to you or your venue, not to a bar service. We will tell you which one applies and we work under it.
